Hi all,

MoosTrax is a free GPS tracking application that runs in the background and sends your location to your MoosTrax.com account. It is configurable for cell/wifi and GPS to save battery as well as distance and accuracy filters. This is great if you lose your phone or you want to record your trips/hikes/etc,. and view it at a later time (by going to MoosTrax.com and logging in).

MoosTrax 1.0.0 was just approved yesterday and it is my first app in the App Store!

A little background - MoosTrax has been available for BlackBerry and Android for a while, and with the release of iOS 4.0, I was finally able to port it to the iPhone.

I would love to hear some feedback! Trying to constantly monitor your location and send it can be difficult -- so I'm always looking for ways to improve battery life and enhance the user experience.

If anyone would like to help beta test the upcoming version(s), please e-mail me at: moostraxsupport[at]gmail.com.

Thanks,

Chris
