I made the stupid mistake buying the Mophie Airpods Max Charger stand, The site where I saw this did not mention USB-C only, no option for Lightning, I just clicked buy and was redirected to the Mophie site, and I bought it.

Imagine my surprise when I received it....no Lightning dongle :(
I tried to resell the stand but nobody wanted to buy the stand for a reasonable price.

So I thought to myself, why don't I make it Lightning compatible myself :)
I was never going to use that QI charger, at the base, for other things anyway, and it doesn't matter that it doesn't work anymore.

So I drilled a hole at the back, where the ear cup falls into, and removed all unnecessary electronics.
There is a solid metal frame construction in it, apparently they really wanted to make it idiot proof :)
Bought a magnetic Lightning charger on Amazon, which could rotate 90 degrees, built it in, and secured everything with black 2 component glue.

It looks great, and it works perfectly O-)
(This is also a DAMN You to Mophie, being cheap and not add a lightning dongle)
