Bought one yesterday and use it today for the first time, charged it up last night fully. Turned it on when phone was at 8%, but only charged phone to 68%. Is this normal for a first time use or is something wrong with the case. I know it is supposed to get a 100% extra charge, but figured it would at least get me to 90-95%.

I think they recommended that you charge from 20%-80% then go back down to get the most out of the battery case.

I use the uNu power DX and I get over 100% extra power.

That is what I was thinking. Will try it again tomorrow and hope it produces better results.

i've had nothing but problems with the Mophie Juice Pack. i returned 3 of them and it still doesn't work right, always stops charging then starts again and keeps making the noise like i plugged it in.

Same thing happened again tonight, turned on at 20% left and it charged me up to 88%. I'm gonna give it one more shot tomorrow then I will return it if still not working correctly.

Try going 20%-60%. Turn off the case at 60% and let it to down to 20%, then turn the case back on. iOS devices tend take much longer to charge above 80%.

Also put it in airplane mode when charging if you can. It will charge faster. I have a feeling mophie did a test that makes the iPhone use the least amount of power possible to use the +100% extra power claim.

I have a cheaper juice pack and it charges 100%

Try again and if problem persist, then return.
