Mophie juice pack Plus Excessive battery drain

A buddy of mine recently got a Mophie Juice Pack plus and has noticed that the battery drain on his iPhone 5 quicker than it was before he used the Mophie Juice Pack.

Has anyone else noticed this or had this issue? Any tips or hints anyone could pass along would be great. I've never used one of these so the who Mophie thing is new to me.

Well now that you mention it I did feel that it drained a little faster than normal but I'm not sure if that came from me using it more than usual because I knew that I had extra power.

I actually felt the same thing. When I took the case off and used the phone as is it would not hold the charge that well.
