Bare in mind this is before apple enable fast charge.

50% in an hour and a half. Reasonable for most uses.

and 50% to 85% in about an hour and a half.

I need help. I bought this charger and it started charging at 11:15 this morning and at 3:40 it was fully charged. Wasn’t it supposed to be faster than that? Besides, iPhone X got hot and Mophie marks on the apple case. What am I doing wrong?

Which mophie charger? I've seen where using 5V/1A charger leads to this - hot and leaving marks. Ideally you'd want to use 5V/2A.
