I'm "recording" a song as a favor for a friend, and I have midi strings in it (because it requires strings and I don't play them). I have Garageband with which I have a fair amount of experience, and I have Logic Express with which I have basically no experience. So this time I decided to use Garageband because I was on a time crunch. But none of the software strings on Garageband seem to have instant attack. I know how to adjust the strings on Garageband to try to add more attack, but the attack is all the way up and it's still not instant. And I'd really like to avoid purchasing a Jam Pack for this one song.

So does anyone have a simple way to get what I need? Either a way to get Logic strings onto Garageband; clear instructions for how to change the instrument to a Logic string after I import the song to a Logic file; or a way to add more attack to the strings on Garageband as it is?
