I am struggling with an iMessage issue with Big Sur. The most recent few days are missing from messages on the MBP and I also cannot add my phone number to iMessage on the Mac either. I have my email addresses, but I was always able to add a phone number as that is what I use on my iPhone and iPad to start messages.
I also use these for my business and it is extremely useful to get messages onto my Mac.
Does anyone else have the same issue, or know a fix. I have tried rebooting, I have tried logging in online and my number is showing against my account, I am really struggling to work this out.
I also am unable to receive normal text messages via the MBP either, seems to be a disconnect with my phone and laptop
