With the recent TvOS 14 update I was thrilled to see that the strange visual effects that were happening with my LG tv anytime I played a movie from the iTunes app was fixed. I guess fixing one issue introduces another. Now I’m getting an audio delay when watching movies in Dolby Vision. I noticed that Home Alone was updated to Dolby Vision and decided to give it a whirl. I noticed the lag right away in the beginning scene. If I turn off Dolby vision, no audio lag. Regular 4K HDR movies don’t have this issue either. Other apps like Disney+ are not affected by this. Has anyone experienced this recently?

Have installed today’s update?

Yeah. I read it had bug fixes. Immediately tested after the update with same results. It did take a year to fix the other Dolby Vision issue so maybe in tvOS 15?

Bummer. It fixed my DV problems.
