hello,

I was thinking of buying an apple watch, previously I had silver stainless steel, but black tempts me, on the other hand I see that in hermes there is the spaceblack DLC that I don't know about its resistance to scratches

reviewing multiple threads I think the most resistant in terms of scratches is still stainless steel silver since it can be polished, what do you think about it?

Is there a thread in which all the finishes are compared with their advantages/disadvantages?

a greeting

If the price isn't a barrier, the Space Black is THE most scratch resistant. It's very hard to scratch with normal use. I had SB for all my Apple Watches until it became Hermes only. Not a mark on any of them.

Along with the sapphire crystal you can forget about everyday marks and dings.
I just wish they did the Ultra with DLC.

any material CAN scratch. and unless it is the raw finish (silver SS or natural Ti) you have no chance of hiding the scratch. There have been posts here where people have buffed scratches out of the Ti btw.
The most scratch resistant is the space black, DLC coated, since AW8 only offered in Hermes :(,
I had by SBSS S4 for 3 years and the body is flawless, screen (Sapphire) had scratches, so you can see that I am rather "rough" with my AWs ...

You can wait next year, been heard that Apple is releasing Apple Watch Vibranium and Apple Watch Adamantium editions.
