More email spam then usual.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this, please move it to correct location if needed.

In the past 2 weeks, i noticedI'mm getting a whole lot more spam in my Hotmail and Gmail accounts in spam folder. I try to unsubscribe from as many of the spam emails i can, in hopes to reduce the spam, but its not working. Some spam emails are getting past spam filter in Gmail and go straight to my inbox.

Anyone else noticed an increase in spam emails they get?

Its getting annoying, because I get over 200 spam email in a day in each email account. A month ago, I would get at most 30 emails in spam folder.

Everytime you unsubscribe from a spammer or spam email, that gives them more incentive to keep sending you their junk. Just let the filters at HotMail and Gmail do their jobs. I actually find the spam filters at Gmail to be overzealous and usually have to go thru spam mail and sort out stuff that I really needed.
