Following up on my previous thread I decided to make some more ringtones available for you guys for free. Some of them will work well for use with the Alarm Clock app. Others are simply non-musical cell phone rings.

Here are the steps to get my new Ringtones:

1: Download my latest Ringtone file from here.

2: Double click on the downloaded file to extract all the ringtones from the archive.

3: If you haven't already done so, download Rogue Amoeba's amazing utility: MakeiPhoneRingtone from here.

4: Extract MakeiPhoneRingtone by double-clicking on the downloaded file and then run the utility.

5: Select all the new ringtone files you extracted in Step 2 and drag them onto the MakeiPhoneRingtone window or its icon in the OS X dock.

6: All the ringtone files will be automatically added to your iTunes Library ready to be synced with your iPhone. You can play them from iTunes to audition them prior to syncing.

7: Remember to select the ringtones you want to sync from the Ringtones tab in Itunes.

Enjoy!

Hmm... Nice find on the utility (haven't used it yet but will after work). Odd they don't have it mentioned on their site, though?

You should post what all ringtones you added so people will know whether they will be interested or not. :)

Would this work with Windows?

The ringtones will work, but you have to use the manual approach to get them into iTunes. Rogue Amoeba has stated that it will definitely not develop a version of its utility for the MS platforms.

I'm going to support the folks at Ambrosia that created iToner, their the ones that took us to the dance to begin with and have been very diligent in ensuring that we can do the ringtones independent of Apple. Rogue folks kinda showed up after the fact.

Thank you for sharing this and also the GREAT ring tones!

Guessing that the m4r's can be renamed to m4a and work as well right?

Thanks again! I'm not too into having a song for a ringtone so these are perfect! :D
