I just viewed the suggestions for making the MBP better if anything was possible and had a question...

On the 17" MBP, it's still just as thin as the 15.4", so wouldn't the added area because of the bigger screen mean more space on the inside?

In my suggestion in the other thread, I thought finding room inside the 17" for another SODIMM or two would be amazing.

Just wondering.

Well... they used that extra space for the disk drive, battery, and the firewire 800 controler. They also probably just added some more heat sinks for good measure. None of that extra space was left empty.
