More info on HP 23" TFT monitor

Hi everyone. Virgin poster, long-time lurker. Thanks so much for your advice! (And I've searched previous threadz and am looking for more info).

I'm interested in buying the HP 23" TFT monitor. Main issue is artist wife wants the pivoting and I'm a gamer who drools at the thought of component video input. And as students - savings are savings!

Macworld said I need a Radeon ATI 9200 or 9800 Pro card. They now ship with the 9600 or 9650. Can I use one of these cards with this monitor and still pivot?

Aside from cosmetics (and calling me a traitor), is there anything else anyone would tell me about using this monitor?

Hey can you be more specific on the dell 24? There are a few variations??
