Those manufacturers go off of rumors. If those cases were from Agent 18 or Incase, then it would be more believable.

5G, really?!

5th Gen ... thing is, the way a lot of people get what the G is for mixed up is often funny.

There was another post on here that showed all the iPhone models side by side, and they were labelled 2G, 3G, 3GS, and 4G ... a complete mismatch of information because calling the iPhone 4 a 4G obviously refers to "Generation" but then looking at the first model, the "2G", they obviously refer to that due to 2G networking, which means in the one photo alone you have someone using the G as a reference to the network (which is correct) and to the generation of the device!

Nice post OP! Just the little twinkle of hope that's left.

They are Chinese manufacturers, and the 5G stands for "5th Generation" to them.

Names don't mean anything, at the end everything is a business and everybody wants to make a profit.

Personally speaking, I still think there will be more than the 4S on show on Tuesday.

I think the leaked N94 component that showed iPhone 4 identical parts with an A5 chip was nothing but a test model for "disguise" purposes, and the N90A is the 8GB iPhone 4.

I wonder what they're gonna do with all that rubber and plastic after no iPhone 5 is announced. lulz

I think the "G" in 5G stands for "Gee, I wish we hadn't sunk all that money into cases for a phone that isn't going to be announced this Tuesday!"

I'm hoping Apple will prove me wrong on this, but I'm not overly optimistic.

Recycle it and make it into playgrounds for kids. Thats what they do with old tires.

Anyway, I can't wait for tuesday. In the meantime, I have classes and a paper so that will keep me company for a bit.

If we don't get a redesign, I want to grab one of the execs at the Chinese case makers, and slap them for two reasons.

1) What the hell were you basing your designs on?
And
2) Why would you toy around with people like us with cases like these?!

1) The 'leaked' design document.
2) To be ready if it is released.

I'm pretty sure there's a redesign myself. THere's already stories of those same cases found in AT&T stores. Pics included

I was being facetious. :)

I do think that the case makers had the actual iPhone 5 (prototype) in their hand to work with though, as indicated by Mic Gadget's tale of the lost iPhone 5 prototype.

An iPhone with a larger screen and LTE capabilities would keep me using it for 2 years. There would be no interest in the iPhone 6 for me if this is the case :)
