More of a discount with education pricing?

Just today I was looking at the Education Store and I saw that the MacBook is now $899 with education pricing, as opposed to $949 like it was before. Do you think this is a sign that the new one is coming out soon? I'm not sure if the education price has gone down in the past when the new one is coming out soon. Thanks!
