More ram = More noise... Imac G3

I upgraded my iMac G3 from 256mb ram to a maximum 1GB and I'm sure it is now noisier, the fan and the hard drive. Why would this be?

if the harddrive is getting louder chances are its getting closer to die ive had many old harddrives where theyd get really loud then die, however i highly doubt the ram made the harddrive louder

Most likely your mind I hear my G5's fans turn into jet engines even when I'm on my PC lol
