Basically, SCO is claiming code that Linus Torvalds wrote himself. Linus seems like a very honest programmer. I especially like this quote: "I think we can totally _demolish_ the SCO claim that these 65 files were somehow 'copied.' They clearly are not."

I think the endgame is nearing for SCO. I can't wait till SCO dies. :D

This is also interesting.
 
Sure, the header files are going to have most all of the same constant names for programmers familar with UNIX. It certainly doesn't mean that they're copied. It doesn't exactly make them unique either.

I wonder how many of those files were derived from the book on which Linux is based.

In any case, SCO will find it much more difficult to proceed. Soon, they'll be claiming control key combinations are theirs alone.

Odd that the company which was fighting Microsoft as Caldera is allied with it to fight Microsoft's Linux enemy. :eek: (Yes, the money helps.)
 
Some of his responses to the previous accusations were pretty funny, I wish I knew where I had read them, It was a good read.
