Morning information dashboard?

I have a Mini hooked up to the TV in my bedroom and I'd really like to start using it to get me going in the morning. I'm looking for an app that will display things like my schedule for the day(based on Calendar), email, weather, news, and maybe Facebook notifications and an alarm. If you have any suggestions or ideas to fill my needs, please let me know!

EDIT: The iPad apps Morning and Status Board are similar to what I am looking for, but I need them for Mac.

Don't know about an "app" but you can get a "tool"... Display customized info on your Mac's desktop using NerdTool. See this post for tips on how to set it up:

You may want to look at Dashboard, which is already a part of OS X. You can use widgets for all those functions you mentioned.
