I'm looking into getting a Mac, and one of my big concerns moving into the Apple world is that the MacBook Pro does not have an HDMI out. I've found the Moshi Mini DP to HDMI w/ Audio, and read NOTHING good about it. I don't want to buy a product that dies after a few months.

Any suggestions to a product that does the same thing, but doesn't die after a few months?

Apple mini dp to hdmi

Buy the Apple Mini DP to HDMI adapter which works perfectly.

Does it push audio? As far as I've seen most of them do not push audio to HDMI.

I got a Mini DP to HDMI cable off eBay and it runs 5.1 lossless and 1080p through it fine.

My local Apple store has the Moshi and a new Belkin version. The Belkin was newer, smaller, and 5 dollars cheaper and does audio so I picked it up. Works well, at least for the 3 days I've had it.
