Hello!

I need to hook up a 4k monitor to my iMac 5k 2017. The monitor has DisplayPort, Mini DisplayPort and HDMI. The iMac has Tb3 USB-C.

My understanding is that there is no OEM adapter and Apple recommends the Moshi USB-C to DisplayPort Cable that they sell for whopping $50.

Is that the right cable? If so, does anyone have any experience with it? Is it good for that price?

Price is about right. I personally use Startech’s cables. I have three that I use for my MBP. Been using them for a year with no problems.

Yes I was looking at the cables at Amazon, but I needed one today, so I just got the Mophie one... It works. It's a cable.
