Ok, I work for a small company and we keep files sent by customers in folders under their company name on a server here. Well when the system began, I had just been hired and our on-call admin created folders for us to drop files into and store in the archive. I noticed the folders were all created Feb. 18, 2005, and asked if it would create a problem later if we needed to search by date created/modified. I was told no but now three years later it's time for me to do some housecleaning and I cannot filter the files or folders by date! I have tried the search with Date Created, Date Modified, Content Created, Content Modified, Last opened, etc. and I am still getting lists with recent folders and files in them, most of which say Feb. 18, 2005. Is there another way isolate older files even though most of the folder are dated as Feb. '05? Thanks in advance for any help.
