My ipod classic (80 GB) had been acting up a few weeks ago, it refuses to play some songs, skip them or stop in the middle. I just avoided it for sometime, but it got worse, so i reset it and run a diagnoses, but everything was fine. So the other day, I was putting songs on it through my itunes, and playing some songs from the ipod library, but it stopped midway through one of the songs as it usually does now and the whole itunes froze, so I force quit itunes and took out the usb connector, and I reset the ipod, but when it came back on all data was lost. I decided to connect it back to itunes. Itunes told me the ipod was corrupt and I should restore it, then sync it with my itunes library, so I did, but it only synced 50 songs, for 3 hours only 50 and it was still syncing, so I dicided to force quit agian b/c it refuse let me eject the ipod. Before I forced quit, i changed the option from sync check songs to manually manage, so I could do it myself. When I reconnected the ipod, I decided to take it slow b/c I thought too much data at once was making it hard to copy to the ipod, so I did it by albums, it took 3 albums, but when I put in the next one which was only 5 songs, it went back to the same problem, it saying its copying 3 of 5 for 4 hours. I disconnected and redid it with different albums, and end with the same problem everytime.
please help, I know its too long of a description, but that's what I got
