In my opinion, its it's thinness. I have never ever, used a case on any of my other phones, due to the fact that it usually adds a massive layer of fat to an already chunky phone. With the iPhone 4, even the thickest cases make it barely larger than the iPhone 3G(s). It's probably my favorite thing about this phone. It looks great in a CandyShell :D

Most underrated thing is how quickly it can drop a call.

Personal experience. Not sure if anyone else noticed...?

External antenna. I don't think it's as bad a idea as the rest of the world apparently.

Or here. I think the screen is pretty underrated too.

Screen is actually overrated. Compare it to all 3.7" devices with 800x480 resolution and you won't be able to tell a difference unless you stick it in your face. Like i've mentioned many times before, it definitely is a wow factor when you're coming from a 2002 like iPhone3gs screen, but not when you come from another phone manufacturer. You see, other phone manufacturers are ahead of the game when it comes to hardware.

Considering that's the MAJOR hype about the phone and it's not THAT much better than other comparably sized screens... THAT equals overrated, not underrated. :)

Gonna have to disagree. You're entitled to your opinion, though. :) I've put this side-by-side to my friend's phones and nothing compares. The iPhone 4's screen blows everything else out of the water.

And I disagree with your lifestyle choices. But you don't see me calling you out.

EDIT: Thanks for adding on to your post. What do your friends have, a RAZR? iPhone 3g? A google G1?

Sorry, I don't debate with people who result to personal insults.

Agreed. My friend's first-gen DROID screen looks like ass compared to the iPhone 4 screen.

the fact it is gsm and not on cdma. Wait to all the folks get their wish when the iphone hits Verizon. Once it does people will complain because of the lack of a physical SIM to swap out. Welcome to the world of ESN numbers folks. Yikes. Absolutely married to a device/carrier.

I'm gonna use the default "retina display" answer. Made the mistake of looking at a friend's iPhone 4 (still have the 3G), and now i barely even look at my pos screen
