motherboard battery needed....?

Hey,

i was wondering if it was a simple matter to replace the battery on the motherboard of a 15" powerbook.... just takes a watch battery, no?


... the clock no longer holds memory....

When I spoke to the genius at a store, they said the battery is built into the logic board... so it would not be anywhere near worth replacing it. Since I don't have a clue about hardware, I'm just repeating what the guy told me. I have no idea if what I'm repeating sounds completely absurd or not.
