Hello community,
I have a beautiful G4 PowerBook, 1.5Ghz with a bad motherboard. I am hoping to replace the mobo with a 1.67Ghz that I am sure works, from a VERY similar model. Would this be possible, or am I out of luck?
Bad motherboard-
1.5 Ghz
Model: PowerBook 5,6
A1106
Good motherboard-
1.67 Mhz
Model: PowerBook 5,6
A1106
Follow up question- I know it is possible to test the power trickle in the motherboards of G3's to determine whether or not they are working. Is there a similar test to run on these motherboards? Thanks.
