Motherboard questions

Hello,

Fairly new to the Mac platform. I am also a compulsive person when it comes to having the latest and greatest. Anyway I have a late 2010 MBP 2.66GhZ i7 and I am very jealous of the new 2011 MBP with a quad core i7. Like I said I like to have the newest (huge downfall in the technology department). The question is this...can a 2011 MBP motherboard be put into a 2010 MBP? Or is the new MBP worth selling the 2010 and dropping another 2k on the 2011. OR...should I just go with adding a SSD and and just be happy with what I have. (It is the best computer I have ever used)

No you can't get a new motherboard without exchanging for the new version. An SSD will rejuvenate your already fast machine.

If you are the kind of person that gets worried about having the best of the best you should switch to a hackintosh.
