Motion 1.0 won't run on my Macbookpro??

Does anyone know how to make Motion 1.o work on a mac a MacBookPro is using OS 10.4.8 with a 2.33ghz Core 2 Duo processor?
The program opens but crashes shortly there after.... any thoughts??

Looks like a pretty old version, you might be out of luck. Have you updated to 1.01? Looks like you can do so here: http://www.apple.com/finalcutstudio/motion/download/motion.html
