Motion 4 release date?

does anyone know when this came out? I am trying to get motion 5 at work and would like to tell them its 6 years old time to upgrade but was curious if anyone knew.

Looks like it came out with the Final Cut Studio in July 2009.

Motion 5 has been out for some time too.... That's the most current version.
