HomeKit Motion detector no longer triggering home automation.

i have a HomeKit DLink OMNA cam that I had set up to turn on Hue outdoor lights when the camera detected motion after dark. But now that has stopped working since updating OS. I tried deleting the accessory from the home app but that didn’t help.
any ideas?
