If you've not grabbed a Moto X as of yet for yourself or are looking to get Mom into a new smartphone for Mother's day, Motorola is hosting a 24-hour sale on the device. Starting at 12:01am ET on May 1st, you'll be able customize a Moto X for mom, or yourself, on the cheap.

16GB starting at $299.99 (regular price $349.99)
32GB starting at $324.99 (regular price $399.99)
Developer Edition $324.99 (regular price $399.99)

A customized phone, with no contract for a reasonable price. Can't really beat that. You can head on over to the Motorola site for the full details

Great prices if you are interested.

Don't forget that warranty still officially applies to dev editions with bootloader unlocked

Unprecedented afaik!?

Unfortunately moto x doesn't need roms though :)

I love my Moto X. I would buy that Dev Edition for $324 if I didn't already have one! Great price for an amazing phone.

Gotta wonder if this is Motorola's last push to get rid of remaining stock before the Moto X² is released.

Even if this is a purge the price makes it worth it.

I'm defiantly going to pick up a dev edition. Hard to pass up brand new at that price.

Isn't the prices misleading? It depends on which carrier you choose. Republic Wireless is the cheapest.

If I didn't have my 64GB iPhone 5, I'd so get it tomorrow. But I think I might sell my iPhone and get the X2 when it comes out.
