I have the Motorola S9 bluetooth headphones. Two things:

1. When I am running outside, they skip really bad. If I am sitting in my office, they work great. Anyone else ran into this and have a fix?

2. Is there a safe way to stretch them? They are a little tight in my ears. After I wear them for a while, my ears begin to hurt.

Thanks much.

I have the S9s as well. Where do you keep your iPhone when running? I keep mine in an armband on my upper arm and I don't get any skipping when running with them. The closer the source is to the headphones, the better they'll work. The S9 product page on Motorola's site says:

For optimal outdoor performance, position music device in close proximity to and in line of sight with the S9's internal antenna, which is located in the base behind the user's head. Placement of the music device in a front pocket is not recommended.

I think there's a reinforcing wire/metal band in the headphones to help them keep their shape. I don't think you can "stretch" it, per se – you'll simply be bending the metal band instead.

Thanks much for the info. I will get an armband and try that. But II would like to be able to "stretch" them some. Oh well.
