Moultitouch gestures in mbp 4.1

Hello.Bought my first macbook and got a question.Currently ive got a mbp 4.1 early 2008 15inch . Inna system preferences -trackpad i dont have a 3-4 fingers moultitouch gestures,How i can enable 3 and 4 finger gestures? mac os 10.6.8



And what is the best mac os for this device?Ive got 3gb ram and 60gb ssd
