mount external drive

I have a FreeAgent Desk 1TB external connected to my MBP via FireWire 800. This drive doesn't have a power button on it, but it turns the drive on and off depending on whether or not the drive is mounted in the operating system. I normally unmount the drive whenever I'm not using it. Is there a fast way to remount the drive without having to open Disk Utility every time?

PS: Terminal > sudo mount /Volumes/FreeAgent\ Drive doesn't work.
