Mount iPhone as a drive

hello

i want to import (cut and paste) all my iPhone's photos and videos, to a specific folder in my Mac.
is there a way to do this, without using photos app or iTunes app, in my Mac?

The Image Capture app is still around for importing photos/videos, try that.

you can also use Preview to import selected pictures directly from iPhone and iPad to a MAc, open Preview and look under the File menu while connected with USB cable
