Mount .ISO file

have DVD with a .ISO file - finder sees the file but I can't mount it. If I attempt via DiscMounter I get "no mountable file systems". If I attempt via DiskUtiliy is spins the disc and after a minute just stops. No luck with Terminal either.

You can try with a file (un)archiver like
