MOuntain lion doesn't heat up your mac that much

Have you noticed that ML doesn't heat up the mac that much? Before ML, when I use the twitter app or skype, it uses the discrete graphics card but now it only uses the integrated one. It only uses the discrete graphics card when I'm using Photoshop. It's really awesome
