Mountain Lion GM to Consumer Release

Hello all,


I am currently running the GM release of Mountain Lion. I have not purchased the consumer release version yet. Will I still get all the normal software updates on the GM version even if I'm not a dev?
Should I upgrade to the consumer version? Is there a difference?

1. You should upgrade to consumer (Mac App Store) version if you're not a developer.
2. You will get the updates on GM too because:
GM = Mac App Store version
