I want to have a clean restore on my iPhone 5 but I do want to save all the conversations I've had in iMessages. I was wondering if this would work with ML:
I 'load up' all my messages/history onto my Mac via Messages on ML.
I buy the new phone and don't restore from a backup, but instead log in to my Apple ID and have the messages from my Mac sync to my iPhone 5
My only worry is that it'll work the opposite way: My new iPhone 5 would erase all the data on my Mac and match it with the nothingness of my iPhone 5.
What do you guys, who have ML, think?
