Hello, I just got my first mac a month ago :)

I watch clips on MplayerX and listen to music on itunes. Sometime the sound normalize in a wrong way during songs/between songs and while watching clips. It can be really annoying sometimes. Since it happens both on MplayerX and itunes I'm assuming it's a setting in Mountain Lion, but I couldn't find it in the settings. How can fix that?

Another quick question: in MplayerX when I want to skip a few seconds in a clip I'm clicking right and left arrows, but each click skips 10 seconds, which is too much. How can I set it to be less than 10 sec?

Thanks!

No.there is no "global" normalize in the OS. If it uses normalize, its only from your apps. When you say "Sometime the sound normalize in a wrong way during songs/between songs and while watching clips."
What do you mean by that?
