Mountain Lion not recognizing WD elements play

I just upgraded my macbook to OS X mountainlion 10.8.2 ,but now my system does not recoginse my WD elements play 2 TB HDD.
I checked the disk utlity and it is showing in the same but the status is "unmounted" and even after verify and repair am unable to mount it.
PLEASE HELP....
