Mountain Lion syncing

Hey guys I'm new to this whole upgrade process and upgraded to Mountain Lion without checking some of the facts out. Stupid, I know. Now I'm wondering how I can sync my iPod to my mac without losing my data. I have no iTunes data in my media libraries. Can anybody help me? Thanks!
 
Nevermind, found the answer. Right click on your iOS device name in iTunes, hit backup. It's gonna take a while to backup 100+ apps over USB 2 XD.
