Mountain Lion thinks my HD is a Time machine B/U and will not allow install

MLion won't install on my MBA 128 SSD. It thinks it is the Time Machine back up disk. It is not, the time machine B/U disk is set and working on my Time capsule. How and where can I reset this? Help please....😱

I wonder if you're somehow booted to the Time Machine disk. Maybe back everything up and reboot without the Time Machine disk plugged in?

Nope it has identified the disk correctly a 128g
