Mountain Lion Waking from Sleep issue - Please Help!

Hello, AbhiKap here

I have a new MacBook Pro running Mountain Lion 10.8.2
One problem I noticed is that sometimes when the computer is in sleep mode, then it won't wake up; just the backlight keyboards turn on for a second and then off and then on for 1 second then off. I have the press and hold the power button to turn it of then turn it on again. What is going on and How can I fix this?

i had the same problem. the keyboard would turn on, the screen would be on and work but I couldn't use the keyboard or the mouse. I took it the apple store and they replaced the entire computer with a new one
