My cable Internet connection from Crummycast has been flaky recently, on and off. Whenever I call, the robot says that it is due to line problems affecting service in my area. So I can connect my iMac to the Internet using my iPhone as a WiFi hotspot via Verizon, and that's nice. But I've found that the iMac/Mountain Lion WiFi won't connect until I unplug the network cable from the iMac. Setting the order of services in System Preferences doesn't help.

I'd like things to be set so that whenever Crummycast service came back up, the iMac would automatically drop WiFi and return to the cable Internet, since I am paying for it and don't want to use any more of my mobile bandwidth than I have to. Any suggestions?
