Hi,
The new Mountain Lion so far looks good. My geekbench results are as high as ever (4025), but my Cinebech opengl scores are considerably lower than before. My highest Opengl Cincebench score was with Snow Leopard 10.6.8 ATI driver 1.6.36 (15,81 fps), then droped a little with Lion - ATI drivers 7.18.X (15,4 fps) and its now a pathetic (14,5 fps) with Mountain Lion ATI driver v. 8.
Sorry for the details but thats about a 10% drop since Snow Leopard. Does Cinebench use the new drivers in compatibility mode or something? Or are the drivers optimized only for the latest models? I cant explain, but things like this make me wish I could choose the drivers I want like Windows or even Linux....
Sad...
