mounting an .mdf file

I have an .mdf file and when i want to mount it, I
change it to .iso.
But then, when I doubl-click, it says that it is not recognized...

please help!

Try right clicking on it and tell system to open with Disk Utility.

The .mdf extension denotes a disc image file in the proprietary Alcohol 120% format. You will need Alcohol 120% running under Windows to handle your disc image files.
