Based on what I've read, OS X can't mount an FTP drive and write to it (only read).

Is there anything that allows you to mount an FTP server as a drive on your Mac/Finder with read/write access? Kind of like how .Mac has iDisk but I don't feel like spending $99 a year for 10GB. ;)

Macfusion is built on top of macfuse, and basically makes it much easier to install and use. In my experience, ssh works perfectly, but ftp depends on the foibles of the server. If you can persuade your isp to enable ssh, or you are lucky with the ftp server they are running, macfusion is as simple as a network share.

Barney.
