after playing FPS video games HARDCORE, i've basically adjusted to low sensitivty - big mouse pad, no mouse accel.
I don't know if a lot of other people notice, but mouse accel on the desktop is pretty annoying, to me at least. I normally use the trackpad on my powerbook and the mouse accel on that is perfect. but whenever i plug in a mouse, the mouse accel becomes a bad thing.
so that leads to two questions
1) can i turn off mouse accel in panther?
2) if i turn it off, will that mean that the accel on the trackpad is off too?, if so how would i turn the accel back on for the trackpad?
thx a ton guys

Mouse Accel in Panther

Hey!

I don't know what is the correct way for your problem, but I have same too. :(

I am a hardcore q3 player on the net, but mouse accel of OSX 10.3 is changed, when its released about oct.

Its very hard to play with the new mouse accel routine in OSX.

Maybe in the terminal?

:)
