I am using a new Aluminum iMac 24" 3.06 with 4Gb of RAM. I have a Microsoft Ergonomic Desktop 7000 and have the following problems. There seems to be a delay when scrolling with the wireless mouse and a delay sometimes when typing text. The batteries of both devices says Good and the signal strength is High on both. The receiver is no more than 18" away from the keyboard or mouse. The receiver has a light that registers the keys pressed and there is no delay from key press to light flashing. Each move of the mouse is also shadowed showing movement and reception is good.

Could a setting in iMac Apple mouse be affecting this? The Microsoft mouse and keyboard have there own control panels in System Preferences.
