Mouse and Keyboard lock with Ableton Live 9

Hi, since installing Mavericks, I have a problem with the mouse and keyboard locking up when using Ableton's Live 9 product. The only way out is a force quit using cmd-alt-esc but there seems to be an underlying problem. Has anyone else experienced it and is there a fix coming?
